Hi all,

sorry for being so late, but I haven't thought that EVS is so fast in the first week and I also needed some sleeping, so, here is some words about my weekend. :-)

So we started on Friday night when we decided to watch the ANEGIN (Puskin-Tschajkovskyj). It was great, I loved it very much, although I must admit, I do not like operas. But here, in Sigulda, it was the operafestival weekend. Interesting, but imagine, it was only in the Latvian webpage - maybe they did not want people from abroad coming - hehe, they don't know Google Translator is already developed ;).

So, the essence of this: I loved the director so much. He was very angry: if not with actors and actresses, then, with lights, if not with lights, then with orchestra, if not with the orchestra, then with the actors or actresses. The funniest part was when the director actually replaced Tatjána when she had to change her clothes. It was funny to see him dancing with one of the soldiers... :D

On the next day, we went to Riga. Just Ulyana and me were going, Fatih did not want to. It was great, but we were tired because of the previous day - got home at 1, went to bed at 2, so we were  - at least, me - totally worn out. We took the City bus, 3 lats with EU<26, and learnt a lot about Riga, Latvia's capital. Beautiful city, I must admit.

On Sunday, we had the Hungarian evening. Oh, I almost forgot to say that Santana told me that I should work on Sunday, with her, at the fair of Operafestival - we were selling Ceribu Sparni handmade things. It was not so hard, so we could get home earlier (Ulya was with me, again), and she helped me a lot when cooking came. She even baked a very tasty apple pie! Anyway, I made pörkölt, and borsóleves (peasoup), and rakott krumpli (layered potatoes). If I can advice you, never make a rakott krumpli in a small kitchen, only if you want to get nervous. :) I almost cried, but then we managed to solve the lack of pots, and lack of room, as well. XD

Yeah, I think, that's it about my weekend, in a nutshell. Hungarian evening was great! :)

And thanks Zanna and Santana for the cream for my feet :)
