Dear all,

yesterday it was so late, I could not write in English, as well. I have had such a wonderful weekend again. One thing can be surely stated, life with Ulya is not boring! I like that she is so spontaneous and actually she is into anything, so, we can spend really a good time together. It's not about discussing things, or talking about "life's big questions", but actually together we met so different situations, I really have a lot of fun. :))

For example, on Saturday, we took a "girls' day" - better called as afternoon, though. We went shopping! :)) I bought two T-shirts, we bought game for Mikki, our cat, and some thing against bugs. We also did some shopping, aaaand, I also bought rechargable batteries because the others were only out of order if I wanted to use them...

So, all in all, we spent together a great day! :)

On Sunday - here come the adventures!!! :) - we spent the day with my friend, Alban, from France. (I got to know him 2 years ago, during my Erasmus-internship, in Helsinki.) We met in Riga and then took a train to Jurmala - where we actually did not know where to get off. :)) Luckily, Ulyana remembered the name of the centre of the village, so we finally got off the right stop, and we did not have to walk a lot that we could take a look at the sea, among the pineforests... If you've ever felt happiness, I bet, that was it! :) Thanks God, we had good weather - I guess, if I did not take my coat with me, we would have had heavy rains... but, it was warm, what warm, hot! so we could also take a bath, as well. Well, the others took, too, but you know 20 degrees are not for me - I just went in till my legs -that was all, till, enjoyed it. I tried to collect some ambers, as well, I must say, in Palanga, you have a bigger chance - maybe it's because here you have white sand and there we had small stones, at the coast.

For me, Latvians are the Baltic Mediterraenens. Not only when considering driving a car - later - but also with the coast, as well: there was a Havanna Club at the coast. :)) To tell the truth, in Jurmala, they had a rollerblade marathon at the same day - there were a lot of people, with rollerblades, they had to roll 14 kms till finish! After getting home, we helped Fatih preparing the Turkish evening, we had very delicious tomato soup (I liked this one the most), rice with peas and something in the oven which was made of only vegetables, such as aubergine, cukkini, tomato plus chicken. Everything was very very tasty! :))

Some words about today // Néhány szó a mai napról:

Ma Zelmának hoztak egy csomó fonalat, mi azt a feladatot kaptuk, hogy a hurokformából gombócformára kellett tekerni, nekem Valentina, az orosz néni, Irma szobatársa, Fatihnak meg Ilse, az egyik személyzetis segített.

Today we had to make balls out of strings, for Zelma. :))

Some remarks about trains and buses // Néhány megjegyzés a vonatokról és buszokról

Ha Lettországban utazol akármilyen közlekedési eszközzel is, jó ha előre megveszed a jegyed, mert a vonaton vagy buszon drágább a kezelési díj miatt. Amit azt már az előző bejegyzésben is megírtam, Lettország ugyanannyira vízfejű, mint Magyarország. Még a legközelebbi kis faluba is Rigán keresztül lehet eljutni, és innen, Siguldából csak Rigába megy busz. A másik, hogy a buszok összevissza vannak. Van, amikor ilyen helyi járat jellegűt küldenek, van, mikor klímásat. A 8:40-es pl. helyi járat jellegű volt, nem is lehetett rajta jól alukálni.... A vonatok sem olyan jók, persze, ez biztosan csak a személyvonatok jellemzője, de mikor a kemény széken üldögéltünk, bizony elgondolkodtam, hogy ezen nem bírnék ki 12 órát Moszkváig... :))

No, most be kell fejeznem a blogolást, de majd még mesélek! 

Még pár szót a tévéműsorokról: a filmeket vagy felirattal vetítik (általában az orosz filmeket, de a lett filmekhez is raknak orosz feliratot), vagy nem. Ha nem, az rosszabb! Ugyanis, meghagyják az eredeti szöveget - legyen az angol vagy spanyol, és rámondják a szöveget lettül! Kb. mintha természetfilmet néznél, ott szokott ilyen lenni! Majdnem mint: Ants bring each crumble of the bread .... A hangyák morzsánként viszik a kenyeret.... csak itt: And you should let the dog out... Neked kéne kiengedned a kutyát! 

Ez még a kisebbik probléma, ami  igazán élvezhetetlenné teszi, az az, hogy mindössze egy női és egy férfihang van! (Ha van gyerek a filmben, akkor esetleg még az ő hangja különbséget jelenthet, de ennyi!) Magyarul, a postás és a házmester ugyanazon a hangon szólalnak meg......
